How to Join an Alliance in SolPlex

This guide walks you through how to join an alliance in SolPlex and more importantly, why alliances play such a critical role in the galaxy.

Alliances as a Core SolPlex Mechanic

In the early stages of SolPlex, progression is often focused on individual colony growth. Players spend time expanding infrastructure, managing resources and learning core systems. While this phase can be approached independently, it represents only part of the wider strategic picture that unfolds as a server develops.

As SolPlex progresses, alliances become increasingly important. Being part of an alliance allows players to support one another during attacks, coordinate resource logistics and plan strategy together. This cooperation ultimately builds toward the endgame, one of the most defining moments of each SolPlex server. During the endgame, alliances compete at a galaxy-wide scale, with only one alliance emerging victorious and earning rewards rarely seen in strategy games. Joining an alliance early gives players the time and structure needed to prepare for this final phase.

Step 1 (Open the Leaderboard)

Load up SolPlex and enter your internal colony map. In the bottom left corner, you will see five icons. Select the fourth icon, which is Leaderboard.

Step 2 (Switch to Alliances)

Once the Leaderboard pop-up opens, switch from the Players tab to the Alliances tab at the top of the window.

Step 3 (Select and Confirm an Alliance)

Click on the alliance you would like to join, then press Yes on the confirmation pop-up to confirm your alliance selection.

Step 4 (Send a Message to the Alliance Leader)

Click the orange icon to send a message to the head of the alliance.

Step 5 (Message the Alliance Leader and Accept the Invite)

Now you will need to send a message to the alliance leader. What you say is completely up to you, but we recommend briefly explaining why you would like to join the alliance and what you can contribute.

Once the leader responds, they will send you an alliance invitation. When you receive it, simply click the blue Accept button in the message. After accepting, you will officially join the alliance and you will see the alliance group chat appear at the top of your chat window.

Choosing the right alliance can shape your entire SolPlex experience. Whether you’re looking for coordinated strategy, shared knowledge or long-term preparation for the endgame, joining an alliance early puts you in the best position to grow, adapt and compete as the server evolves. If you haven’t joined one yet, now is the time to explore your options and become part of something bigger before the final phase approaches.
